It's been fun
Sportsota.com has suspended publication effective Jan. 23, 2009.
The publisher and editor wish to thank all those who helped us launch our experiment in local sports journalism: the coaches and players who gave us their cooperation, as well as the fans and friends who visited the site on a regular basis. Their support inspired us to continue trying to carve a niche in the local media market. Unfortunately, we were unable to convert the enthusiasm of our visitors into advertising revenue, and economic conditions prevent us from continuing coverage at this time. We hope that Sportsota.com can re-emerge in a more sustainable form in the future.
